Inspirational Thought for the Weekend

Self Esteem

“Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.” —Malcolm Forbes

“Positive self-esteem is the quality of simply saying thank you and accepting any value that is attributed to you by others.” —Denis Waitley

“The core of your personality is your self-esteem, ‘How much you like yourself?’ The more you like and respect yourself, the better you do at everything you attempt.” —Brian Tracy

“No one can make you feel inferior without your permission.” —Eleanor Roosevelt

Inspirational Thought for the Weekend

“Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these.”

— Susan B. Anthony

Attitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of Attitude
on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It
is more important than the past, than education, than money,
than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what
other people think or say or do. It is more important than
appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a
company, an organization, a home. The remarkable thing is
we have a choice every day regarding the Attitude we will
embrace for that day. We cannot change the past. We cannot
change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We
cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is
play on the one string we have, and that is our Attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90%
how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge
of our Attitudes.
