Here’s an interesting thought to consider today:
“Doing the next right thing is better than doing the next thing right.” – Confucius. Stop right now and think about that and then look at what is going on in your life today as you try to increase your productivity and get to your goals. Are you more focused on doing something that doesn’t mean anything right more than doing the right thing for this situation? One of the greatest reasons we become frustrated in trying to achieve goals is that when we arrive at the conclusion of a task or event we don’t get what we expect.
Unmet expectations = frustration.
Stephen Covey said it this way, “Before you climb the ladder of success make sure it is leaning against the right wall.” What is the next real right thing you should be doing so you can arrive at the destination you really want?

Inspirational Thought for the Week
If you don’t change your beliefs, your life will be like this forever. Is that good news?
— W. Somerset Maugham
Inspirational Thought for the Weekend
“Listen to the salutation of the dawn, look well to this day. For it is life, the very life of life. In its brief span lie all the verities and realities of your existence, the bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendour of achievement. For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes of every yesterday a memory of happiness. And of every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day for it is life. This is the salutation of the dawn. “
