Sheena Iyengar studies how we make choices — and how we feel about the choices we make. At TEDGlobal, she talks about both trivial choices (Coke v. Pepsi) and profound ones, and shares her groundbreaking research that has uncovered some surprising attitudes about our decisions.
Inspiring. The way sheena discuss the theme is superb! She explain it in a such beautifull way, she speaks with a confidence that its not common to person that are able to see!
Excellent! I know that whenever other people (including parents) choose for me, rather than simply suggest other choices I can make, I get very upset. I don't know if that's because I'm American, or it's a personality flaw. I also notice that my choices lately have become more frugal, perhaps because I am tapping into the collective knowledge that our economy is not what it used to be – so therefore perhaps I am allowing others to choose for me and not realizing it, thinking it is my idea, and therefore not getting upset. 🙂
